SUMMARY:FREE Lunchtime Learning - Feel Good with your Finances Pre-Tax Year End
DESCRIPTION:FREE Lunchtime Learning – Feel good with your finances pre-tax year end   \n Wednesday 25th March 2026 12pm \nMoney doesn’t grow on trees! Oh\, we wish it did! But would your troubles be over with ready-made cash on the tree? Yes\, you could buy anything you wanted when you wanted too\, BUT would it make you happy?  We know you would like to find out! \nWe don’t have the magic trees\, however we can support you to create more funds with the money you have. \nOnly around 9% of UK adults received regulated financial advice last year. Many people make financial and tax decisions each year without realising the long-term impact. As the end of the tax year approaches\, this session is designed to highlight the key areas that individuals can still review before 5 April\, and the common opportunities that are often missed. \nThis FREE learning session will cover how income tax bands and allowances work in practice\, why ISA allowances are strictly use-it-or-lose-it\, and the role of pensions and capital gains planning in reducing unnecessary tax over time. We will also look at how small\, informed decisions can compound into meaningful long-term savings when viewed through a financial planning lens. Promoting good mental health with finances.  Do you leave your tax return to the last minute or complete it in by May? How do you feel about money? Looking into ways of coping in a positive way when you may not have the extra money this month for that magazine. \nThe session is educational in nature and does not provide personalised financial advice. Its aim is to improve understanding\, reduce avoidable mistakes\, and help attendees recognise when professional advice may be appropriate. \nJoin Tracey and Jack on the feel good factor on making the best of your taxes\, ISA allowances\,  pensions for the coming year and positive mental health with finances. \n  \nTo book\, please email bookings@claritashrandtraining.com or fill in the online form on our website below. \nWe look forward to seeing you!

SUMMARY:FREE Lunchtime Learning - Financial Wellbeing
DESCRIPTION:Join Our FREE Lunchtime Learning Financial Wellbeing Event!\nReady to take control of your money and stress less about your finances? Our online Financial Wellbeing event is here to help you understand your money and build a healthier future. \nWe will be covering 2 different aspects\, financial planning and financial wellbeing (how do you feel about money for example). \nThis FREE session is an introduction to workplace financial wellbeing and the fundamentals of financial planning. We will break financial planning back to basics\, covering areas such as cashflow\, saving\, protection and pensions in a clear\, practical and non-judgemental way. \nPeople talk about the cost-of-living a lot these days. But what does it really mean to you? How are you coping? What’s your relationship with money? Some people have had to get a second job to make ends meet\, but how does that effect our relationships with loved ones and our own emotion state of mind? \nHaving a financial pressure on us to bring in the money\, can have a serious and potential life-threatening situation. \nUK employers lose an estimated £50 billion each year in lost productivity due to absenteeism and disengagement\, with financial stress being a key contributor. At the same time\, over 80% of employers say they are actively looking for better ways to support the financial wellbeing of their workforce. \nDespite this\, very few people ever receive financial advice or guidance. Many employees know they should be doing something with their money\, but feel unsure where to start or who to trust. This growing disconnect is often referred to as the advice gap. \nYour finance wellbeing is about feeling as comfortable as you can about money and in control of your financial position. It means having the knowledge and confidence to make the most of your money – daily and through planned and unplanned events. \nWhat do you do already? Do you check your bank account every day\, every month or when the statement comes through? Do you have a credit card\, store cards\, loans? The list can go on. We’re not here to judge or to wave a magic wand\, but are here to support you to get the help and support you need to move forward with your wellbeing and money. \nJoin Tracey and Jack\, to help yourself to change your financial wellbeing. \nTracey Palmer-Hole has over 25 years’ experience in HR\, Training and Development. She is passionate about people and their wellbeing. Tracey combines her experience and knowledge to support others. Tracey works at Claritas HR and Training. \nJack Ballard has over 4 years experience in Financial planning. He is passionate about supporting people to get the best from their money. Jack works at First Sentinel Wealth. \nJoin us online and get inspired to make your money work for you!

SUMMARY:Difficult or Challenging Conversations - Wokingham\, Berkshire
DESCRIPTION:Difficult or Challenging Conversations \nHow do you feel when you had to have a difficult conversation? Nervous? Anxious? Nothing? We all go through different feelings when having challenging conversations. The first place is to start with yourself. What’s happening with you? How are you feeling? Our mind needs to be in the right place to have an effective conversation. Even more so if potentially it’s a challenging one. Having the right mentality and approach when about to deal with a difficult conversation is a valuable skill in any company.\nIt is hoped that the employees will just perform; however\, there may be occasions where performance drops below the required standard and the leader/manager must step in to get the level of performance back to the required standard by having a difficult conversation. There could be several reasons why\, how do you find out!!\nYou may have to call a client to let them know that something they have paid for is going to be late or not come at all! How does that feel? What are they going to say? What other challenging conversations could you have? Let’s explore them in our workshop.\nIn this interactive learning session\, we will address how our mindset has a huge impact on how the conversation will be. \nOutline of the workshop\nBy the end of this workshop\, you will be able to:\n• Identify the types of difficult conversations in your workplace and what makes them ‘difficult’.\n• Explore the potential impact of delaying the ‘difficult’ conversation.\n• Describe what emotional intelligent is and how this can support you.\n• Understanding the behavioural iceberg and why this is important.\n• Prepare and plan for your difficult conversation. \nJoin Tracey Palmer-Hole’s interactive workshop to see how you can ensure that you manage your conversation effectively. She looks forward to meeting you! \nTo book\, click on the Eventbrite link below or email bookings@claritashrandtraining.com

SUMMARY:FREE - Understanding Menopause Online Lunchtime Learning
DESCRIPTION:WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY – 18th October 2025 \nWhat is Menopause and why do we need to know about it? \nThose of us who are going through it will tell you\, but isn’t it good to know about it before it happens to you or someone you love. I don’t remember us talking about it at school\, but then again I don’t remember them talking about Algebra either! Brain fog is real! \nI have been talking about Menopause to whoever will listen for over 10 years and I still missed some of the signs. I’m not a doctor\, but I do understand the perils of Menopause. \nIn this interactive 30 minute session\, we will discuss what is Menopause and raising awareness at work and at home. What can you do to support yourself or others around you going through it? \nCome and join Tracey and have your say! \nTracey Palmer-Hole has over 25 years’ experience in HR\, Training and Development. She is a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor and is passionate about people and their wellbeing. Tracey combines her experience and knowledge to support others.

SUMMARY:Managing Performance
DESCRIPTION:“Can I have a word in my office? Or can I see you tomorrow morning?”  The words play over and over in my head before even getting into the office.  I’m already concerned about what my manager is going to say. What have I done wrong? Am I in trouble? \nWhen your manager asks to see you\, it shouldn’t always fill you with dread.  It might actually be a good conversation. If you are having regular meetings/catch ups\, there should be no surprises.  However\, our brains think back to a negative conversation that you were called to the office for. Your performance had dipped from its usual high standard and you’re for the high jump! \nPerforming well in our roles\, setting and achieving our goals and delivering results make us more successful. Think about your favourite sports person.  How do they achieve their goals or ambition?  They recognise that they need to work smarter not harder to achieve the results. Are they performing to the best of their ability\, or could they do better? Who is around to support them in achieving their goals? It’s the same in business. We need to set SMART objectives to ensure that the business and employee is on the right path to be successful. \nThis learning session looks at your responsibilities as a manager/leader for managing performance\, what you should do to set performance standards and manage against them and what to do if an employee’s performance drops below standard. \nOutline of workshop \nBy attending this workshop\, you will be able to: \n\nUnderstand what is meant by managing performance\nDiscuss how your standards fit into your company’s vision and values\nDescribe your responsibilities about managing performance as a leader/manager\nDemonstrate setting SMART goals and objectives for your team/employees\nExplain how to deal with under performance\nDesign a plan for future development\n\n  \nJoin my interactive workshop to see how you can ensure that you manage performance in your team.
