Understanding Menopause online – 18th October
Time: 9.15am arrival for 9.30am start until 12.30pm
Cost: £80 + VAT per person
Why are we talking about Menopause? It’s everywhere isn’t it? What’s the point? Potentially half the population will or have been through this. It can impact everyday life for everyone though!
A few years ago, you may know that Davina McCall did some research and filmed a programme about it. However, Menopause has been around a lot longer than us all. It’s great to raise any awareness, but its even better to understand it and support someone going through it.
Tracey Palmer-Hole is our Learning and Development Manager and she is going through Perimenopause. She openly discusses in these sessions, her own experiences and research on ways to support someone going through different stages of Menopause.
Outline of the workshop
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand the different Menopause stages
- Describe the different signs and symptoms of Menopause, sharing experiences
- Discuss Menopause and Mental Health, how they impact daily life and coping with it, sharing experiences
- Identify and discuss different coping strategies with the most common symptoms of Menopause, sharing experiences
Why not join Tracey on World Menopause Day and support yourself or someone going through Menopause afterwards?
