Who doesn’t love an Appraisal? I know they are great, aren’t they? Or do they fill you with dread?  What are they going to say?  If a performance review or appraisal is carried out in the right way, they can be motivating and confidence in the role.

Reviews or appraisals form part of the performance management cycle and is a great way for Manager and Employee to understand what is to be achieved to move the company forward.

Outline of the workshop

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Understand what performance review / appraisal are
  • Describe what is seen as good and bad reviews / appraisals
  • Explain what SMART objectives are
  • Discuss different feedback techniques
  • Identify and recognise development needs
