CANCER!! I know it sounds like I’m shouting it, doesn’t it? Well I am. How do you feel when someone says the word, Cancer? I’ve never heard anyone say it’s a good thing.

I have always hated cancer, but that is such a strong word. Am I too passionate about it maybe? The word cancer can provoke so many different feelings and behaviours in us. When someone tells us that they are in remission, how do we feel? How is that person dealing with it? Does everyone get to ring a bell?

In this interactive 30 minute session, we will discuss how to talk to someone who has/had cancer. I will ask you what your company does to support someone going through, been through or seeing a loved one going through cancer. So be prepared!

Tracey Palmer-Hole has over 25 years’ experience in HR, Training and Development. She is not a doctor, but has lived experience with cancer. She is passionate about people and their wellbeing. Tracey combines her experience and knowledge to support others.
