Mental Health First Aider Course – Face to Face in Wokingham, Berkshire
Below is the outline of the learning outcomes across the 2 days. The dates are the 19th and 20th August 9.30am to 6pm each day. You must attend both days to complete the course.
As an MHFAider you’ll be able to:
- Recognise those that may be experiencing poor mental health and provide them with first-level support and early intervention
- Encourage a person to identify and access sources of professional help and other supports
- Practise active listening and empathy
- Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy around language and stigma
- Discuss the MHFAider role in depth, including boundaries and confidentiality
- Practise self-care
- Know how to use the MHFAider Support App®

Cost = £250 + VAT
**The training room is on the 2nd floor in the building and does not have access to a lift. Please be aware before booking your place that you are able to make the stairs.**
