To create a mentally healthy, productive workplace, it’s vital to build supportive relationships between managers and team members.

When workplace leaders, managers, and colleagues have the right knowledge and tools, they can better support their team’s mental health.

Mental Health Skills for Managers will enable you to have meaningful and effective conversations with your employees about their mental health and wellbeing for them to thrive at work.

This afternoon training course will provide a consistent approach to mental health and wellbeing, promoting healthy performance across the whole organisation.

This evidence-based course is ideal for people managers who want to help create an open culture around mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

 

By attending the course, you’ll learn to:

  • Describe mental health and the impact of stress on employees in the workplace
  • Identify if a team member may be experiencing poor mental health
  • Confidently have open conversations about mental health at work
  • Respond empathetically to challenging situations related to mental health in the workplace
  • Appropriately signpost your team members to available support
  • Describe what support and guidance is available for yourself and your employees and how to access it
