What is Menopause and why do we need to know about it?

Those of us who are going through it will tell you, but isn’t it good to know about it before it happens to you or someone you love. I don’t remember us talking about it at school, but then again I don’t remember them talking about Algebra either! Brain fog is real!

I have been talking about Menopause to whoever will listen for over 10 years and I still missed some of the signs. I’m not a doctor, but I do understand the perils of Menopause.

In this interactive workshop, we will discuss what is Menopause and raising awareness at work and at home. What can you do to support yourself or others around you going through it?

By the end of the workshop, you will:

– Identify what Menopause is and the different stages

– Recognise the different signs/symptoms of Menopause and share experiences

– Identify strategies to support yourself or others going thorough different symptoms of Menopause

– Plan what can you do to raise awareness about Menopause with people around you and at work
